Angular stainless steel grit

Stainless steel grit is produced from selected stainless steel scrap, melted and transformed into metallic particles through a controlled casting process. During solidification, the particles take on a uniform spherical shape that ensures consistency and constant performance. Subsequently, the grit is sorted by size and subjected to specific heat treatments, thus achieving the required hardness and ensuring high wear resistance. Each batch undergoes thorough checks on microstructure, hardness, and size, ensuring precision and uniformity of the particles.

Angular grit is obtained by crushing the spherical grit, sieving it according to the desired sizes, and heat treating it, giving it sharp edges and different hardness levels depending on the applications. The stainless material, thanks to its high resistance to corrosion and long lifespan, can be reused multiple times in industrial recirculation systems, ensuring efficiency and sustainability in shot blasting and sandblasting processes.

Available in different shapes, sizes, and hardness levels, stainless steel grit adapts to numerous industrial applications, making it ideal for the treatment of stainless steels, non-ferrous metals, and stone materials such as marble, basalt, serizzo, and volcanic stones.
