The Wamo kit is a tool provided by Winblast technicians to help you measure operational mixtures and carry out consistent daily inspections. This tool is particularly useful for certain blasting operations, such as:

These require a constant transfer of kinetic energy throughout the entire workstation. The Wamo kit provides the ability to verify proper use of the blasting machine and ensures that every particle in the mixture is used efficiently.

How is it used?

The Wamo kit is an easy-to-use tool, designed to inspect the operating mix used in blasting operations. All you need to do is collect approximately 200 g of a representative sample from the air classifier (on the shot curtain) and sieve it using the filtering set included in the kit.

The battery-powered portable scale allows you to collect data after a complete filtering of the sample.

The Wamo kit is customized for each base product and allows you to check the condition of the operating mix through a USB stick included in the kit to record the data. A simply designed chart with a color-coded index instantly shows the status of the current operating mix. If the index is green, the mix is compliant.

A balanced operating mix is composed of approximately 75% large spherical shot, 20% medium spherical shot, and 5% fine spherical shot. Regular monitoring of the operating mix with the Wamo kit will allow you to reduce wear on components and the turbine, increase blasting efficiency, and reduce the consumption of abrasive materials.
